Held every Saturday morning at Crystal Pier, this one-hour coached workout blends paddling, open-water swimming, beach running, and bodyweight exercises into a dynamic, ever-changing session that prepares you for the physical demands of the ocean.
What to Expect
- Surf-Specific Conditioning – Train like a water athlete with ocean-focused workouts that improve stamina, agility, and power.
- Paddle Training – Use soft-top surfboards for endurance paddling and ocean navigation drills.
- Open-Water Swimming – Build confidence in deep water with buoy-marked swim circuits.
- Beach & Bodyweight Workouts – Sprint drills, sand runs, and functional movements to strengthen key muscle groups.
- Adaptive Sessions – Each week brings a new workout designed to challenge all skill levels.

Every Saturday through May, our Winter Surf Training Program offers a unique opportunity to build endurance, strength, and camaraderie in a supportive ocean-focused environment. Designed for surfers and water enthusiasts of all levels, these sessions combine paddling, running, and open water swimming to develop the skills and fitness needed to thrive in any surf condition.

- Time: Starts at 8:00 AM
- Where: Below the Carolina Yacht Club water tower, Wrightsville Beach, NC (Rob Brown's dock)
- Who Can Join: Open to surfers and ocean enthusiasts of all levels
