Open Oceans Captain’s Emergency Response

Duration: 16 Hours (2 Days)

What You’ll Learn:

Day 1: Classroom Training (8 Hours)

  • BLS CPR & AED Training (for adults, children, and infants)
  • Choking relief & advanced airway management
  • First Aid for marine environments (severe wounds, hypothermia, jellyfish stings, burns)

Day 2: On-Water Training (8 Hours)

  • Rescuing an unconscious victim & safely bringing them aboard
  • Man overboard drills & emergency boat handling
  • Using marine safety gear (rescue tubes, slings, life rings)
  • Radio communication & coordination with emergency responders
